This protective tube is designed to provide regulatory protection for galvanized steel cables at the start of the smoke extraction winch. Positioned around the cable, it limits the risk of direct contact and contributes to the safety of triggering and resetting operations.
Design and material
Made of zinc-plated steel , the tube has a corrosion-resistant finish for everyday use. Its tulip-shaped design makes it easy to fit directly into each other without any connections , and its bending capability allows the installation to be adapted to the constraints of the installation .
Installation and practical use
Each element measures 1 meter ; the assembly of two 1 m tubes allows the cable to be protected to a height of 2 meters as recommended. The tube is specifically designed to protect the cable at the start of the winch and is placed in addition to the cable clamps and mechanical protections already in place.
