Description
Optical detection suitable for servo systems
The Hochiki optical detection head detects the presence of smoke particles by measuring light variations in its measuring chamber, and integrates into a servo system to continuously transmit its status to the central panel to enable centralized supervision and processing of alarms, faults and associated commands.
Security and Installation Features
The head incorporates automatic sensor contamination compensation to maintain sensitivity over time. It has a dust cover to limit fouling during installation and a safety lock function to secure the assembly after installation. The dual LED allows 360° viewing of the detector status.
Performance and reliability in varied conditions
The analysis chamber is sized to efficiently analyze suspended particles while limiting false alarms caused by steam. This design aims to ensure continuous and stable detection over an operational temperature range covering common uses.
