Description

Precise control from the ground in closed mode

The closed detector test kit allows you to test smoke detectors up to a height of 4.00 m without the need for a ladder. In the closed test method, the gas remains confined within the test bowl , which promotes rapid activation of the detector while reducing the amount of aerosol required.
It is possible to add two extensions (ref. 0353) to increase the intervention height to 6.50 m .

Two test methods depending on the context

Two control methods are proposed:
- The open test , which reproduces a direct projection of gas (ref. 0320)
- The closed test , which favors speed and reduced aerosol consumption.
The choice of procedure depends on the situation and the control objectives.

Content and operational compatibility

- A closed test bowl (ref. 0356)
- A 2.50 m fiberglass composite telescopic pole (ref. 0354)
- A 150 mL test aerosol (ref. 0360)
Offering a complete solution for ground-based detector testing. Poles and extensions used for closed testing can also provide access to heat detectors.

Instructions for use and safety

Before use, check that the components are securely fastened and follow the procedure for inserting and locking the aerosol. Observe the precautions relating to the flammability and pressure of the gas contained in the aerosol, as well as the manufacturer's recommendations for storage and handling.
