Description

Thermal test without power supply

The thermal test kit allows you to check the operation of thermal detectors without batteries or power supply. It fits on different test poles and is used in on-site inspection procedures.

Kit Contents and Test Cycles

- A thermal test bowl
- An adapter for a telescopic pole
- 4 plates of 4 thermal bags + 2 saline activation solutions of 120 mL to carry out eight cycles (ref. 0351)
- 1 syringe
- 1 waterproof bottle
- 2 elastic bands
This packaging allows several tests to be carried out on site as needed.

Storage and handling precautions

The kit must be kept dry at all times, preferably in the shipping plastic bag or other waterproof container. When handling, an activated heat pack should never be touched directly with bare hands: a protective barrier must be used between the skin and the heating pad.

Principle and test range

The temperature increase is achieved by a chemical reaction whose components are not considered harmful to humans or the environment. The reaction allows temperatures between 60°C and 90°C to be reached, which corresponds to the trigger range of the thermal detectors targeted by the control.
