The presence of a cap with cover on a post is not obligatory. This article ensures that the visual appearance of a Saphir post is not damaged when the initial cap is worn, broken or stolen.

- Diameter: 65 mm.
Taking into account the quality of the paint on BAYARD caps, it is recommended not to install Saphir posts less than 20 km from wetlands (sea, river, etc.). The passivation of aluminum, due to lack of appropriate treatment, causes the red paint to peel off.
