The presence of a box on a pole is not obligatory. It is the vector of beauty, protection against vandalism, and above all lasting resistance to oxidation so that the post can remain perfectly functional for more than 40 years.
Compatible with transfer or paint numbering
CAUTION: Replacing the cast iron box with a resin box requires closing the dam valve. The nosepiece must be disassembled to attach the adapter ring.
If the hydrant cannot be repaired, it is imperative to replace it quickly to ensure continued protection. The delegatee, the water contractor or a qualified public works company can carry out this service.
