Plastic Cap: Ensuring the availability of fire hydrants under good conditions
This cap is made of a plastic material, which is advantageous because it is the same composite material used for the boxes, which prevents the paint from flaking in a saline environment.
It is designed to be compatible with PAM Atlas and Atlas+ fire hydrants, ensuring seamless integration with these systems. It is not compatible with Bayard Saphyr range hydrants.
A stainless steel chain is available as an option for fixing to the back of old posts.

If the hydrant cannot be repaired, it must be replaced promptly to ensure continued protection. The contractor, the waterworks engineer, or a qualified public works company can perform this service.
