This valve handwheel is suitable for DN40 and DN65 dry riser fire hydrants as well as certain RIA shut-off valves . It is mounted on a 12 × 12 mm male square.

Fixing and tightening

The steering wheel is fixed using the supplied screw, which is inserted into the upper 5 mm hole. This is an M5 screw , with a 9 mm diameter hexagonal head . It is made of grade 8.8 steel , a high-strength material (≈ 800 N/mm²), generally zinc-plated for better protection.

Handling and finishing

This steering wheel is made of steel with a red epoxy paint coating that protects the surface and makes it easy to identify on site. It has five openings that improve grip, reduce the risk of slipping, and ensure efficient handling during operations.
