Description
Additional maintenance and recharging of DESAUTEL devices
In line with the rules it has established for portable fire extinguishers, the manufacturer recommends replacing the additive in dose after 5 years.
European regulations require the cessation of the circulation of fire extinguishers containing this product by December 31, 2030. At this stage, DESAUTEL does not offer an alternative to extend the life of wheeled fire extinguishers certified with an EX-1 foam.
The periodic inspection of auxiliary pressure equipment requires an annual opening of the equipment.
Handling pressurized equipment is risky. It should only be carried out by qualified technicians, such as those holding a vocational certificate (CAP) as a fire extinguisher inspector.
