90 mL floating bottle "Valext LD", with flat stem, for "ROT" fire extinguishers since September 2011.
The NF S 61-919 standard and the manufacturer's recommendations are linked to replacing the additive after 5 years.
The VALEXT LD additive contains PFAS with a short carbon chain (C6).
European regulations require the cessation of the circulation of fire extinguishers containing this product from December 31, 2030. ROT now produces fluorine-free fire extinguishers, and plans to supply a Conversion Kit by 2027.
The periodic inspection of auxiliary pressure equipment requires an annual opening of the equipment.
Handling pressurized equipment is risky. It should only be carried out by qualified technicians, such as those holding a vocational certificate (CAP) as a fire extinguisher inspector.
