The PRIMO3 LSL A is a self-contained LED emergency lighting unit designed for sleeping areas (hotel rooms, healthcare facilities, or group accommodations). It provides a luminous flux of 45 lm for the first hour , then reduces to 8 lm to extend its autonomy up to 5 hours.
A dual classification - BAES and BAEH
This product simultaneously meets the requirements of emergency lighting (BAES - 45 lm flux over 1 hour) and emergency lighting ( BAEH - 8 lm flux over 5 hours), under a single NF license. It incorporates SATI self-testing technology , which automatically performs the periodic checks required by standards NF C 71-820 and NF EN 62034: a weekly 30-second test, a six-monthly one-hour test for the BAES section, and a five-hour test for the BAEH section.
Electrical and environmental characteristics
The unit operates at 230 V - 50 Hz with a power consumption of 0.7 W and incorporates a 2.4 V - 0.6 Ah Nickel-Cadmium battery . It features an IP42 protection rating and IK07 impact resistance , which can be increased to IK10 with the optional mounting screws. It complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and REACH (Does not contain any substances subject to authorization) requirements. Ni-Cd batteries contain cadmium, a substance that may be harmful to the environment according to current legislation, hence the product's registration in the European SCIP database.
Installation and compliance
The light fixture is surface-mounted. A recessed wall or ceiling mounting kit is available as an accessory. The supplied pictograms are modular and adjustable, conforming to standard NF EN ISO 7010. The light source is not replaceable; at the end of its lifespan, the entire fixture must be replaced.
