Description
Protect the shut-off valves of the fire hose reels, in the closed position, to maintain traceability of use between two maintenance operations.
The length of the stem is usually sufficient to pass through the handwheel and around the shut-off valve. Therefore, when the shut-off valve is turned, the numbered seal is broken.
This unique numbering system guarantees the maintenance company quality monitoring of the fleet.
In addition, the NF S 62-203 standard provides for the installation of a seal on the stop valves of the PIA (additive fire station).
According to standard NF S 62-201, the same applies to RIAs with an air supply to guarantee protection against freezing.
