Description

Automatic activation of your smoke vents

This thermal trigger incorporates a bulb calibrated to 93°C (ref. 9681) which bursts when the defined temperature is reached, releasing the dart which strikes the CO₂ cartridge and causes the autonomous opening of the outlet .
Other temperatures and components are available on request (68°C ref. 9680, 140°C ref. 9682).

Functions and connections

The device includes two inlets for opening and closing the pneumatic control box, two outlets to the smoke extraction cylinder(s) (or cylinder + pneumatic ventilation), a thermal fuse and an inlet with striker for CO₂ cartridge.

Caution: the cartridge must be positioned with the head down.

Commissioning and installation constraints

Drilling the outlet is necessary if the fixing center distance is different. The thermal release is a CO₂ self-actuating device that activates at its predetermined temperature threshold.

Resetting and maintenance

After triggering, clean the trigger of any glass debris and traces of liquid from the bulb, then reset the device according to the established procedure.

A periodic check is recommended every six months to monitor the operation and condition of the stinger.
