Its installation allows public access to be blocked while ensuring that emergency services can unlock the device immediately during an intervention, using their usual technical key.
The use of this model complies with standard NF 61-580 and departmental decrees governing external fire protection. The widespread adoption of this type of locking mechanism is recommended for all fire protection devices, such as signposts, water tank gates, and access points to restricted parking areas.

The padlock's structure is made of stainless steel , a material chosen for its mechanical strength and durability. The body is coated with a high-visibility red epoxy paint, making it easy for intervention teams to spot immediately, even in low-light conditions or in cluttered industrial environments.
The 8 mm diameter shackle offers a usable opening of 40 x 90 mm, allowing it to be attached to a wide variety of supports: chains, locking bars, protective rings, or ladders. Its stainless steel construction provides corrosion protection , ensuring smooth operation of the triangular lock even with prolonged exposure to the elements.
