Versatile and ergonomic scale for your counting and measurements
The PAKET50+ weighs up to 50 kg in 5 g increments and accepts loads from 5 g, making it suitable for handling both small items and large loads. It features a tare function to disregard the weight of containers and a counting function that displays the number of pieces based on a selectable reference (25, 50, 75, or 100 pieces).
Screen, power supply and ergonomics
The LCD screen is separate from the platform and can be placed on a surface or mounted to the wall using the pre-drilled holes (110 mm spacing). The display is easy to read thanks to its 34 mm high digits . The scale operates on mains power via the included 6V/500mA power adapter, or on batteries (4 x AAA 1.5V, not included), and features automatic shut-off when running on batteries after 5 minutes of inactivity.
Commissioning and routine operations
The device is switched on using the ON/OFF button, and the unit (kg/lb) is selected using the UNIT/CAL button. The tare function allows for consecutive weighings with zeroing between operations. The parts count is configured by pressing COUNT, then selecting the number of reference parts, and finally placing that number of parts to start the reference measurement.
Calibration and status messages
Calibration is performed using calibrated weights following the described procedure. Error messages indicate the balance's status: "Lo" for low battery, "O-LD" if the counting capacity is exceeded, "Err" in case of a calibration problem, and "EEEE" if the weighing capacity is exceeded.
Design and safety of use
The weighing structure consists of a cast aluminum frame and a stainless steel platform, while the scale and display feature rounded corners to minimize the risk of injury and product damage during handling. The device comes with instructions in French and 11 other languages.
