The departmental decree and the NFS 62-240 standard specify the conformity of suction devices.
The characteristics of this DN100 half-coupling are as follows:
- 1 locking side, without a shell,
- 1 male threaded end, 4 inches,
- 1 fixing hook for the chain.
Local regulations occasionally require a screen on the suction inlet. This is available upon request, although we believe it is more efficient to position the filter just before the fire pump to ensure the removal of obstructions, rather than leaving them trapped between the suction connection and the water tank, which may itself have a strainer at the bottom.
