The Kaufel BT 4000 multifunction remote control allows for centralized management of emergency lighting, with polarized or non-polarized compatibility. It can manage up to 500 units via 6 modules , in accordance with the requirements of Article "EC 12 §6" which mandates a dedicated circuit for powering emergency lighting units.

Automated testing and integrated SATI functions

The BT 4000 ensures complete control of the blocks:
- Initializing the day/time of the tests
- Launch of autonomy tests
- Manual or automatic SATI test
- SATI fault report
Ideal for SATI self-testing blocks, it centralizes all monitoring information.

Broader operational management thanks to zoning

The remote control can work:
- in general mode
- in zone-by-zone piloting
- in zoning for performance venues
- with key-activated shutdown at the end of operation
These options ensure management adapted to all types of establishments, even those subject to particular constraints (public access buildings, sleeping accommodations, establishments open to the public).

Enhanced security in sleeping quarters

In the event of a loss of the normal power source, the BAEH switches to backup mode.
The BT 4000 then forces the BAES to standby, avoiding an unnecessary discharge.
In the event of an alarm, the emergency lighting units automatically switch back to emergency mode, in accordance with the ERP safety regulations (Nov. 2001 – articles J30, O17, R27, U32, PE36).

Programming required before commissioning

The remote control is sold individually and requires prior programming to ensure proper operation in the chosen installation.
