Description

Signage adapted to ERP and ERT

The radio sound diffuser is an interconnectable element compliant with standards NF S 61-936 and NF S 32-001, designed to work with the radio manual call points (980R), the diffusers (989R-SL, 989R-S, 989R-L) and the associated Type 4 radio alarms (987R). It provides an audible signal to alert occupants and is integrated into installations for establishments receiving the public (ERP) and establishments receiving workers (ERT).

Simplified pairing and unpairing

To pair the diffuser with the control panel, place the control panel in pairing mode and then press the diffuser's function button three times: the diffuser beeps, and the control panel confirms the pairing with a beep. The unpairing procedure follows the same principle by placing the control panel in unpairing mode and repeating the operation on the diffuser.

Communication test

A communication test is performed by holding down the function button until a sound is heard; when released, the indicator light goes out and the control panel receives a message. If the connection is correct, a sound is heard within ten seconds; if there is no response, check the pairing and the quality of the radio signal.

Scope and practical limits

The theoretical range in open field is 2,000 m . In real environment, the range can be reduced by the presence of obstacles or interference; it is therefore recommended to validate the radio coverage on site when positioning broadcasters and other devices.
