Description
Avoid leaks when checking permanently pressurized fire extinguishers
Procedure: - If the fire extinguisher has a Schrader fitting, use the control pressure gauge code 0224.
- Otherwise, use the test rod to check that the needle of the fire extinguisher's pressure gauge returns to its correct position.
After using the test rod, remember to replace the transparent adhesive disc to cover the hole and limit internal oxidation of the pressure gauge.
