Protect your fire hose reels from damage
This M1 model protective cover, made of PVC-coated polyester , protects DN25* ROT fire hose reels located in covered areas against dust, oxidation, and vandalism. For outdoor use with enhanced UV and rain protection, a specific model is available upon request for industrial sites, campsites, and other outdoor installations.
Velcro and elastic fastening system to hold the diffuser in place
The presence of 45 cm Velcro straps and an elasticated hem at the back ensures that the cover and diffuser of the fire hose reel (RIA) stay securely in place . This system reduces the risk of the cover opening or tearing under the weight of the diffuser.
Rapid, strapless removal for emergency interventions
The cover is designed for quick removal during procedures , although it does not have a dedicated removal strap. The elastic drawstring at the back allows the cover to be opened wide for easy removal. The seams are reinforced to ensure the cover's durability during handling.
Certified waterproofing and fire resistance
The PVC-coated polyester fabric has a waterproof rating of 2000 mm according to ISO 811 1981 and a tear resistance of 45 N according to ISO 4674A1. The M1 flammability test is validated according to standard NFP 92-503.
The fabric is sewn in France.
Recommended for indoor use to preserve color
UV colorfastness is average. Indoor use is recommended to prevent color fading over time. A reinforced model with improved UV resistance is available for outdoor use.
