The INDULUX ET 400L A is a self-contained LED emergency lighting unit ( BAES ) in a 316L stainless steel housing, designed for ambient lighting in industrial environments. Operating in non-permanent mode , it automatically switches on in the event of a power outage and provides one hour of autonomy, with a luminous flux of 400 lm in emergency mode and 200 lm in standby mode .
SATI self-testing technology
The device incorporates SATI self-testing technology , which automatically performs the periodic checks required by standards NF C 71-820 and NF EN 62034: a weekly 30-second test and a six-monthly one-hour battery life test. The luminaire must be positioned to avoid prolonged viewing at a distance of less than 0.39 m , in accordance with requirements regarding the risk of retinal damage from blue light.
Electrical and environmental characteristics
The unit operates at 230 V with a power consumption of less than 1.9 W and uses two 4.8 V - 1.2 Ah nickel-metal hydride batteries . It features an IP68 protection rating and IK10 impact resistance , for use between 0 °C and +40 °C. It complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and REACH (Does not contain any substances subject to authorization) requirements. The Ni-MH batteries contain nickel, a substance that can be harmful if it comes into prolonged contact with skin.
Installation and maintenance
The fixture is surface-mounted, either on the wall or ceiling. Cleaning should be done with alcohol-based products, excluding acetone and solvents. The light source is not replaceable; at the end of its lifespan, the entire fixture must be replaced.
