The Altiled ET 1000L A is a self-contained, waterproof LED emergency lighting unit ( BAES ) designed for evacuation and ambient lighting in architectural and industrial environments. Its patented 360° rotating head allows for precise beam direction adjustment. Operating in non-permanent mode , it automatically switches on in the event of a power outage and provides one hour of autonomy with a luminous flux of 1000 lm .
SATI self-testing technology
The device incorporates SATI self-testing technology , which automatically performs the periodic checks required by standards NF C 71-820 and NF EN 62034: a weekly 30-second test and a six-monthly one-hour battery life test. The luminaire must be positioned to avoid prolonged viewing at a distance of less than 0.39 m , in accordance with requirements regarding the risk of retinal damage from blue light.
Electrical and environmental characteristics
The unit operates at 230 V - 50 Hz with a power consumption of 3.5 W and is equipped with a 7.2 V - 4 Ah Nickel-Cadmium battery . Its IP65 rating protects it against dust and water spray from all directions, and its IK10 impact resistance allows for use between 0 °C and +40 °C. Ni-Cd batteries contain cadmium, a substance that may be harmful to the environment according to current legislation; therefore, the product is registered in the European SCIP database.
Installation and compliance
The product can be mounted on the wall, ceiling, pillar, cable tray, suspended, or recessed. The light source is not replaceable; at the end of its lifespan, the entire light fixture must be replaced.
