The DUO C 3000L A is a self-contained, waterproof LED emergency lighting unit ( BAES ) designed for evacuation and ambient lighting in industrial environments. It incorporates two adjustable spotlights allowing for precise control of the lighting direction. Operating in non-permanent mode , it automatically switches on in the event of a power outage and provides one hour of autonomy with a luminous flux of 2200 lm , reduced to 3 lm in standby mode .
SATI self-testing technology
The device incorporates SATI self-testing technology , which automatically performs the periodic checks required by standard NF C 71-820: a one-minute weekly test and a one-hour semi-annual battery life test. The luminaire must be positioned to avoid prolonged viewing at a distance of less than 0.39 m , in accordance with requirements regarding the risk of retinal damage from blue light.
Electrical and environmental characteristics
The unit operates at 230 V - 50 Hz with a power consumption of 3 W and is equipped with two 7.2 V - 4 Ah Nickel-Cadmium batteries . Its IP65 rating protects it against dust and water spray from all directions, and its IK08 impact resistance allows for use between 0 °C and +40 °C. It complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and REACH (Does not contain any substances subject to authorization) requirements.
Installation and compliance
Connection is made via a terminal block, using a cable gland located on the side of the unit. It is surface-mounted on the wall. The light source is not replaceable; at the end of its lifespan, the entire light fixture must be replaced.
